Beef & Cabbage soup
Mmmmmm, cabbage soup, one of my favorites. It's got a sweet and sour type of taste and is a combination of a long standing recipe from a friend, as well as some elements from a recipe in the LA Times a few years back.
It's great with toasty rye bread. If you're interested, just ask me for the pseudo recipe. Really.
We each had a big bowl for dinner. Because there was so much leftover, I decided to can most of it, which IS an experiment, at least in terms of taste. So we'll see.
